Hello everyone,

The purpose of this e-mail is to share information regarding some of the upcoming activities.  The information also contains some articles and information that has been sent in by students and parents.  This is the last e-news for the year.  As always, if any new information comes out, we will send it out to parents.

Reminder that our exciting production of Wooing Wed Widing Hood is this Thursday, June 9 @ 7:00 p.m.  If you are unable to attend this performance, there will also be performances that same day @ 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., as well as a performance on June 10 @ 10:30 a.m.

There will be a silver collection and a bake auction.  All proceeds will go towards supporting our Performing Arts Programs.

Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast Tri-School Fundraiser

When?         Saturday, June 18, 2011

Where?        Springfield Middle School Lunch Room

What Time?  9:00 a.m. – Noon

Why?           To raise funds to purchase lighting for the Oakbank Tri-School                        Performing Arts Programs

Adults:         $5.00          Children 10 and under:    $3.00

Thank you to the Parent Council for sponsoring the Gym Blast.  As always, the students and staff greatly enjoyed it!!!!

Grade 8 Dinner and Dance tickets on sale June 7 – 9, 2011.  Mrs. Kavanagh is collecting the money.  The date of the event is June 23.  The cost is $20.00.  Please pay in cash only.

Upcoming Events:

Earlier this year we had a competition to create a new Springfield Check 3 logo.  We had many great entries.  Congratulations to Mikayla Peper whose entry was chosen as our logo.
